10 Shining Beautiful Flowers That Exude Beauty At Night
Want to see the beauty of flowers that can light up in the dark? I share this for those of you who want to see flowers light up at night.
Maybe those who don't know, this is like a dream. But, these are real and like flowers from an alien planet.
The flower photo you will see looks like a flower from an alien planet. Colors look strange and emit light in compositions we've never seen before. However, it turns out that this flower is a flower that we usually see everyday.
An American photographer, Craig Burrows, took this shot of the flower in the dark.
As quoted from Wired, Burrows explained that all plants reflect light. They are also fluorescent, meaning that when they absorb ultraviolet light, the emissions are invisible to the human eye.
The principle is the same as for posters with special ink that should be viewed in black light. "The flowers really shine," said Burrow.
To get pictures of these flowers, a special way is needed, namely ultraviolet photography to take pictures of the light emitted by plants.
See a comparison of bottle brush flowers (Callistemon viminalis) below. The image on the left is the bottle brush flower we are used to seeing.
On the right is a bottle brush flower photographed in this unique way. The difference is tremendous. See also 10 other flower changes.
